The Book Edit is an independent book discovery website at sandysbookedit.co.uk. This notice explains the information involved when you browse our pages and follow our links.
Information when you browse
Our pages do not currently offer accounts, checkout, newsletter registration or comment forms. We have not installed audience analytics. Our hosting and security providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser details, requested pages and request times, to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.
Amazon affiliate links
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Our Amazon links contain an affiliate identifier so Amazon can attribute eligible purchases. Clicking a link takes you to Amazon, which handles your browsing, cookies, account and purchase information under its own policies. We do not receive your payment details from those links.
Google advertising: setup in progress
We have applied to Google AdSense. At the date above, we have added account-verification metadata and an ads.txt publisher entry, but have not installed the advertising script. These two verification items do not themselves load Google advertising cookies.
When Google advertising is enabled, Google and other advertising providers may use cookies or similar identifiers to select and measure ads, prevent fraud and, where permitted by your choices, personalise advertising using visits to this and other websites. We will update this notice when advertising is enabled.
Your advertising choices
Before enabling advertising, we are configuring a consent message for visitors in the UK, European Economic Area and Switzerland. It offers Consent, Do not consent and Manage options. We will provide a way to revisit your choices on the website when that message is connected. A message configured in our advertising account is not yet a working consent control on these pages.
